[#4419104]

Got a pair of new RS revelations approx 6 months ago, ridden approx 2 times a week since. Starting to notice a bit of bushing play when the forks are at full extension (not so much when the forks are slightly compressed) is this a bit soon ? Was hoping not to have them serviced until they are 12 months old. Am I being unrealistic ? Is approx 50 rides sufficient to wear the bushings ?

eh? not according to this: http://www.tftunedshox.com/service/rockshox.aspx

Anyway, I wouldn't worry. A bit of play when fully extended is normal ime, it's not the position the fork will spend most of it's time in anyway

Are they 150 travel ones? It may be because the forks are at full extension and close to the end of the bushings. Once your on the bike and the forks compress to riding position (sag) they are fine. If there's no play then this may be the case. 140mm don't suffer from this as they sit more into the fork.

Do they feel lose when riding? If not then wouldn't worry.

Probably best to get them checked by a lbs to be safe ad you don't want to damage the stantions.

I am glad you confirmed that. Unserviceable bushings didn't seem likely

Yes they are 150mm when they are at full extension they knock a bit, but as soon as they are compressed even 10mm they are fine. Would also have thought that, it's just that I haven't noticed it before
