Its a 93 explosif in sparkle black/grey fade (just like this, but looking very tired)

I was going to go white like this one, but the kona stickers I have ordered are white like the originals so won't work.

So, should I go original-grey all over, original-black all over, or something completely different? Most of the other components are original, so silver cranks, rims, seatpost etc.
Silver 😀 with sparkles 😉
Get it done in the original colours .
My old Kona Kilauea ended up being painted lilac on one side and orange on the other a fantastic frame that was painted superbly by Bob Jacksons Leeds looked like I had 2 different bikes depending which side I lent it up on
Not sure if 2-tone is possible at my painters. Matchstick - thats a lot of kona's!
Lime green is looking good!
I went brown and orange?
not liking my pic insertion there... http://newimages.fotopic.net/?iid=y0roag&outx=600&noresize=1&nostamp=1
Ford Olympic blue.
Red, it fastest
Go back to the very old Kona splatter paint job.
Ford Olympic Blue - there's someone who owned/lusted after a Mk1 RS2000! 😉
How much is a decent re-paint?
Desert gold colour ...
My Kona 1999 is Dark Chocolate/dark espresso colour.
I think the decals would look ace on a white frame.
Boxelder 'decent' £100 mark
40mpg - I paint frames too and I just had a look at your profile to see if you are local before putting myself forward - clicked on your link and who do I see - say hello to Nula for me (Pete from Horsham)! Glad she kept with the mtb'ing 🙂
Far too many retro Kona's being resprayed white these days.
How about a nice strong dark shade of blue or green? should work with your decals and would look really nice with silver components contrasting the darker colour paintjob
Enigma? Not as in the brand?
Try using plastikote instead of car paint. IME it's a lot tougher.
yeah, ill try plasticote, saw a nice range in 'focus' diy. lime green fade is next!!!
