Getting them out seems easy enough. How hard is getting new ones back in again? do they tend to need the press? are they hand tight, can you tap them in with a soft mallet?

Any experience welcome (before I **** it up) ๐Ÿ˜†

Firsty don't resort to the mallet. First point of impact will be the feather edge of the seal. I made a mandrel the correct size to push the seals in on my Rev's and 36's. However a suitable size socket or similar will be a good substitute. Do your best to keep them straight, they've got a tendency to try and go in on the piss so take your time. Once you get the seal established in the bore they're not actually that tight.

I also thumbed mine in, after a bit of spit one the rim.

Seriously, though. They went in no bother last time (a week ago) and they were from a full pike service kit. Time before that was harder (seals only). Sourced from TFT.
