I have just bought a bearing replacement kit for my Crank Bros pedals, followed the instructions remove the dust cap, undo the nut, pedal body should come off the spindle along with the bearing. Needless to say it doesn't, has anyone replaced their bearings and if so how did you do it?

If they are Candy's the body should come off very easily once the nut is removed.

They are Candy's but the body will not come off even with a bit of gentle coaxing with a hammer.
