Built from my extensive spares-box, the classifieds and fleaBay. For use only on the (flat) Club 10. Just an experimental bit of fun, really (given up doing 'serious' time-trialling).

Spot the world-class bodge: old On-One 2" risers sawn in half, and clamped into place onto Charge Slice bars using beer-can shims ๐Ÿ™‚

That's an impressive gear, have you posted a picture of that bike to the 'what gear for a road bike?' thread? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Oh, I've geared it DOWN ๐Ÿ˜€ It was a 52x12, now reduced to 50x12 (based purely on my (in)ability to ride up the hill to home after the event ๐Ÿ˜‰

Strange quote. I still use my muscles no matter what gear I'm in.

Very nice, but having the bars that low would wreck my back. I seem to be less flexible these days after a couple of years of SS off roading.

I hope you embarrass a good few roadies on more serious kit with it because they're bound to give you the cold shoulder for turning up on a 'strange' bike.

How's the chain tensioned or have you just hit upon the 'magic ratio'?

Well, it's only for 20 minutes at a time ๐Ÿ˜‰

I've used a half-link chain. When it stretches I'll take a (half) link out.

Might want to underexpose a couple of stops, the frame is a bit washed out.
