Excuse my complete ignorance but what do people use as replacement grip shift grips (ie shorter on one side)?
I’m doing up a secondhand bike for Mini RRR V2.0 and the grips are shot.
(Otherwise where can I get a 7 speed shifter from ?)

(have found a 7 speed revoshift shifter. Presumably I could just cut down some kids grips?)
Ergon do a set of grips for gripshift, locking clamps on the outside with a shorter right grip.
Go to treks online store. I got some from there, specifically for kids bikes ie thinner. Spot on for my 7yo.

lockon grip and a hacksaw will do you fine. for kids (even adults) only the outside part of the grip needs to be locked on.
