Deore or SLX?

Assuming Deore are still steel so will last longer, but SLX may have better shifting?

much of a muchness really, TA do some nice alloy ones, i'm running a 28t inner with a 38t outer ๐Ÿ™‚ 2x9 babay!

Updating two bikes, so Ti would be mega bucks!

As for the TA, been using Middleburns for ages and finally giving up, the grinding paste round here destroys anything expensive

go for the steel ones then, I think my new specialized camber has a steel middle ring... * checks *

Just put a Deore middle ring on a Raceface chainset - not recommended by Raceface unless all the rings are replaced. No difference whatever in shifting, weight? a few grams?
