I know there's a few lefty users on here so thought I'd make a thread. I've just bought a flash with a lefty which uses a 2 piece stem and steerer @110mm long
I've just got myself a integrated stem and steerer @90 which should fit me a little better.
I've started thinking this would be easy, removing the stem and undoing the 2 pinch bolts but can't for the life of me figure out how to remove the steerer ??? It just spins inside the head tube. Is it just a matter of using a rubber mallet and bashing it down and out of the headtube?

Yup block of wood and a mallet will drive it though. It will go a little tight when you get to a bearing but a few firm drives will see it removed
