I've got a pair of ONZA rip'n'rails in the garage, they're pretty good, but about 18 years old, hardly been used

White porcupines are the only ones worth having.

I remember them. I don't remember the year but it was the April edition.

Ha! I remember them too - the pic in MBUK was only small - like just a little bit of the tread. Always wanted a pair.... ๐Ÿ˜‰

Back in the day when MBUK was deliberately funny rather than 'we're all laughing at you' funny.

Hmmm, perhaps the Octopus is due a comeback as the next great indoor park tyre? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Wasn't it one of those rubber soap holders for on a sink? I always wanted some Racing Porcupines though ๐Ÿ™‚

I'd love to try some Racing Porcupines again. Back in the day I thought they were ace. Completely lethal on wet rocks but amazing anywhere else. Surprised no-one has made White tyres recently as they look cool, especially with this White obsession at the moment. ๐Ÿ™‚

Onza Rip'n'rail and pretty good in the same sentence, you don't see that very often.
I thought they where pretty crap as the tread fell off mine.

And didn't it come from the mad brain of Mr B Richards/Zak Tempest. Yes the photo was just a close up of a soap bar holder to look like a section of a tyre.

Oh how we laughed

After we realised we'd all been taken in.
