Refitting a cage to a shimano rear mech body but every time I seperate them to allow the nub on the cage to clear the stop on the body; PING the bloody spring pops out of the cage. Has anyone ever managed to to this ever?
Any tips would be very gratefully recieved.
I turned the air blue in the house yesterday....

I actually fitted an Ultegra one only last week. Definitely a skint-knuckle/3-handed job 🙂
