{Frankenbike question}

Morning.
Is there a rear shock that is more suitable than any other for some short shocking action?

Is it a DIY job?

Coil shock would be easy. Just put a stack of penny washers under the bump stop to keep the e2e or hack the spring with an angle grinder to reduce travel and e2e

Would be keeping the eye - eye and would prefer an air shock really, though a big lump of coil shock might be an option.
