Recommend me one please - looking at the Big Fat Pig, but the cheaper the better...
1.5" headtube (Mmbop) to 1 1/8" steerer (Pikes)...
Hope Step Down on my Mmmbop, expensive but it's lasted a couple of years so far with no issues.
been running a Superstar one on my Cannondale for 6 months - rated
I seem to remember my mmmbop (and other folks) had an issue where the fork's dials could touch / hit the downtube.
Hope did / do a headset with some extra height that fixed it.

Damn, didn't realise the kerfuffle with stack height - the (VERY) cheap Cane Creek one I currently have has quite a deep lower cup. Might go for the Pig, looks fairly meaty.
