These have just been launched and seem to have been well reviewed but £55 for something that does this seems crazy to me.
If you want to use flat why not just buy some like the Shimano PD-EH500? These can be had for about £40 and seem a lot less faff than the Mousetraps. Does anyone really need to convert their expensive bike to use flats regularly enough to warrant them?
I like Redshift's innovation but these seem very niche. I am sure there are lots of other bits of bike kit that are of equally dubious value.

There you go right tools for the job and £15 less...
i think, even a large platform SPD would grip a flat shoe as well or better
XT trekking pedals FTW
On my large platform SPD pedals, the cleat basically sticks out quite a bit relative to the cage, so in flat shoes you basically have 0 grip.
Just about useful on road for the 2 km to work, occasionally. Wouldn't want to do it long term. So can see the point of soemthing like that.
I simply bought plastic wide MTB pedals with reflectors for a whopping €15 and keep them on. More than enough grip.
I picked up some of these (admittedly not in red) a couple of years ago. Seems to work fine and what I thought was a decent price. I happened to have spare cleats so no further outlay.
The only thing I don't like about them is the obvious having to flip them over before you can pedal on them because of the weight. Great for temporary usage though.

I couldnt figure out how they work until I saw that you add your own cleats.
The answer to the pedal flipping due to the weight is to buy and install a set on each side of the pedal!
I've bought some like this for use around a camp site a few years ago. Less than a tenner and work perfectly well.

That's what sold them to me. I have Time Atac pedals and a lot of the flat pedal adapters only work with spds
Meh, I'd rather spend 5 mins swapping out to some decent flats

I have some old M636 (red DX jobbies) on my MTB, I would say you’re probably not going to dind a better apd pedal for flat shoes, but they’re certainly not as food as a basic set of flat pedals.

^^Basically this^^
