Is any one from here signed up?
any experiances of it?
cheers
I have heard good things about last time and I've enjoyed the same organiser's XC race series this winter, so I'm going.
Go for it, I think it will be a bit more technical and less road-based than the MTB Marathons.
Yep and first time for this one!
Quite a long way to pedal for me this early in the year so have a suspicion that's its going to be quite a tough day out!
Good events, but appalling organisation and time keeping. Me and a friend have both been let down by poor timing at separate RK events.
+1 for being let down by poor timing on xc event, but I think those issues have been resolved now.Gonna try to get to devils challenge. Some gr8 terrain in that area, should be a good challenge. The week after is the Builth Wells Marathon, which is always a good event aswell.
Timing was still very hit and miss at round 5 of XC (rounds 4 and 5 both reviewed in my blog), but with the Devil's Challenge that shouldn't matter - it's all about the riding not the times, and I think Neil's strong on course selection.
The course profiles look pretty hilly. Might take gears to this one!
yeah me and a friend have signed up to the 80k, not sure if that was wise but should be a laugh.
done tour de ben nevis and brecfa red and black back to back in a day on saturday so just wondered how much alike it will be.
day out on the bike so cant be a bad thing.
I did tour de ben nevis aswell, excellent event.
