Having a bit of a clear out and I've got a load of old tyres that I could do with throwing out. I know car tyres are nasty things you have to get disposed of properly but what should I do with old bike tyres? I've got enough to create chainstay protectors etc for about 100 bikes so I do need to throw then away. Do councils normally do this kind of recycling/disposal or is it something more specialist?
I'm in Glasgow if that makes any difference.
