[#13536164]

Out of the blue my daughter said she wanted a 3D printer for her birthday (I’m paying most of it as I’ve always wanted 1), this was going to be the only way I could get one, so I’m buzzing.

I’ve come across a funnel for pouring tubeless sealant into the valves that I’ll try and make, has anyone got any recommendations for any files or where to get them from? I’ve found Maker world.

I needed a replacement bracket to repair a kitchen door front(bracket no longer made). A quick Google of the part number stamped on the bracket brought up a couple of sites with files for it. So just try Googling what you want.

https://www.printables.com/model/462055-bike-beer-clip-for-12oz-355ml-and-330ml-cans

I got my father-in-law to make me one of these and it was fine but then I got someone local to me to make a couple more but with the back profiled to fit the seat tube. Not sure what the first one was made from (PLA?) but the PETG used for the second is too stiff to release the can cleanly.

Gridfinity for organising tool/spares drawers. I like the Ikea Skadis pegboards and people have made 3d printed mounts for most things you can think of, or parametric bins for anything else.

Printables is the other main site for files, although most people will put them on both.

Tinkercad is also a good GUI design app for basic stuff. I've been having great fun with it since I got my Centauri Carbon.

Halloween outfit bits. We made a zombie mandalorian outfit with my son.

DMR Vault pedal covers so the pins don't catch on other bikes/your legs/etc in the car/shed.

Proxy terrain/characters/scenery for Hero Quest or Warhammer and whathaveyou

I fancied a project so I made Deckard's blaster out of Bladerunner, to mess around with some metallic effect methods.

Replacement H-shifter gates for my simracing gearstick to give me alternate options with that.

If you browse Makerworld and Printables (and Thingiverse, and so on) you'll probably find more inspiration. I've done some basic CAD stuff to make handy things I needed around the house as well, stuff just comes up sometimes.

I'd love someone to make a toprak saddle quickclick mount to an exposure tracer r light.

Will you be taking requests at any point?

indont even know what a total saddle quick link mount is let alone how to design anything or even know how to switch it on yet. Got to wait a couple of weeks yet.

Also, as there a few different types of filament, is there a stronger type than others?
