Its time for a new pair of XC shoes. I have a pair of old Shimano that are coming to the end of their life and a pair of Mavic Crossride XLs which pinch at the toe. I don't have overly wide feet and once had a pair of Sidi that I sold after a week as they were so uncomfortable.
What would you recommend for under £100?
I've got some Giro Terraduro, which I have to say are the most comfy SPD "trail" shoes I've ever used. They're a little bit over your budget, but I don't think you'd be disappointed. I've heard good things about the Shimano M200 as well, which are under your price point.
Have a look on CRC they have 50% off a lot of decent mtb shoes today
I've found that Specalised fit like addidas, shimano fit like nike.
And giro and scott are well made and somewhere inbetween (asics).
And start cycles (newcastle) have a sale on scott stuf inc spds.
