Looking for some really comfy Lycra shorts for long days in the saddle and not too expensive.
Altura are cheap and cheerful.
Endura even better but reflected in price.
Can't argue with zaskar.
Altura are good to start with and comfy but they wear faster and lose the comfort.
Endura bib shorts are the dogs nuts - More expensive but more comfortable and last for ever. Better value for money IMO.
I very much like giordana
We have some Gore and De Marchi in Steve. Come and try some on and see what you like.
Got a variety of chamois types from endurance style to race types.
Mark
Lusso Pro Gel.
Cheap and very comfy (gel in the pads - works a treat!)
I really like the DHB stuff - not the cheapest stuff, the next ones up in the range but not the most expensive ones. Average I suppose, like me!
+1 Wiggle's DHB branded range...Earnly, or Finchdean if ur feeling flush
Thanks folks, the more expensive Gore and De Marchi ones are out of my price range but the power III's look about right, will try and pop in next Friday Mark.
DHB - Rubbish quality
Endura - Rubbish quality
Assos - The most disappointing shorts I've owned
Giordana Tenax - The best money can buy.
Steve- don't forget you get STW discount. Plus a cuddle.
Wild horses couldn't hold me back now. Cuddles are a lot like bramble whiskey though and don't pay the bills.
Endura,poor quality.
Assos, the best shorts that I've owned, but apparently quality has dipped since they switched production from Switzerland.
I'm going to try Sugoi next.
I'm very happy with my Northwave 53/11s so I stocked up on them.
Half price now at £50.
I love lusso lycra
