Just been reading up on the stans ones at £160 a pair!

Not looking to spend a great deal, for xc racing 160mm and i weigh 76kg........any recommendations?

the lighter and cheaper the better and tell me where to get them.

Was just about to post that link to Merlin!

Been using the Ashima rotors (160mm and 140mm) for a few months now and they're spot on.

the 160 might be ok, but i found the 180's a bit bendtastic.

Been looking at them for a couple of weeks as well,what is
pad life like compared to original rotors?

my ashima have been excellent too, cant tell on pad life really but they are slightly more noisy in a friction way but not a horrible squealing way

I agree but for some reason they're awful with Formula Oro's. I thing the pads are smaller than the holes in the rotor or something. Work great with my Avids.

We sell Mucky nuts discs. Dead light and a mere £20 each. They look real nice and work great - I am around 100kg and use them my 29ers (so they can work hard). They were also the lightest in the world for about two weeks. They have shaved the weight off from the middle and not the pad area so they will still work.
