The missus is looking for a new bike and has £1k to play with, It cant be a womans bike though as she cant fit on them so it has to be mens 🙂 So far ive found a Felt Compulsion 3 for a pound less than her budget and looks pretty well specced bar the Toras??
The second i've seen is a Boardman Team for £980 thats another contender being quite light with 130mm travel, Elixrs etc
After spending the last hour trawling the web i cant find a great deal more anyone know of any last year bargains to be had?
We are in North Yorkshire too so if you know of any good bike shops in the Area I'l drag her around a few 😆 The few i've found are JD cycles, Stif, Aire valley and Evans but wanted to avoid evans

Cant recommend mine enough ... they also do the gold coloured one with a cheaper groupset etc for just over 600 notes ...
I watched the elite for quite a while and then they discounted it to £999 , so just had to have it and then the extra vat came off !!! , so the deal got better
Dont think you`ll find a better speced bike for the money ..

Giant Trance X 5 is a damn good bike for that sort of cash.... just miss out on the Fox rear shock in favour of an own brand one, but spec is good and rides brilliantly.
