Do you have the rim and hub already that could affect who is likely to build it for you?

There are plenty of wheel build specialists out there, here are some that come to mind.

I wouldn't trust my LBS to true a wheel unfortunately.

Ed ex of Dirt Mag is now doing spanner work, etc and is well known for his wheels if you happen to be in this neck of the woods.

Moonglu built my wheels, took an awful lot of abuse before they needed any attention.

schmiken up there will be building my next set, though you're not very local!

Moonglu for me has now built three sets for me plus sets for friends as well.
Give Neil a call would not hesitate to use him again.

+1 for moonglu, my wheels were solid and when i eventually cracked a rim (my fault) he replaced and rebuilt at cost price wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
