[#3152500]

Decided we need a pull-along bike trailer thing so we can drag our daughter out for a nice ride on Sunday.
(She's 17 months - too young for a full tag-along bike just yet)

Any recommendations?
what should I be looking for?

Doesn't need to do anything crazy off road. Just towpaths etc.
Suitable to hook up to a normal hardtail, with a quick release so I can ditch it when I want to ride.
Ideally available at Evans or Halfords if I'm supposed to buy it Saturday.
Compact storage size would be useful too!

See LoCo's thread above but I don't think you can get Croozers at either store you mention.

Hi graham we bought one of these from halfords, folds flat and has hard bottom, pretty good piece of kit.
we used it twice last year and now kids are to big so its for sale.
I live near you so collectable if you want it.

That Croozer is a wee bit more advanced than what we were looking for to be honest.

I was thinking something more like

Either borrow one or get one really cheap. We got a chariot of ebay for £200 (RRP £475). Dead chuffed with myself. However, little one won't go in it and now only likes the rack mounted seat she previously hated!!

She'll not have a choice when her sister is bigger and I have to tow them both!

Hello. This is something I researched alot. I bought an adventure a1 from amazon and sent it back after 1 4 hour trip out. My boy was 2 then. It was uncomfortable and he slipped off the seat when he slept. The buggy kit was expensive and poor quality in my eyes. I've demo'd the the hallfords one too and in retrospect it wasn't any better. I ended up buying a croozer 1 blue. It was about £250 but worth every single penny!!! It's a class above!

The wife uses it almost every day because of the versatile buggy kit. It has great storage, great visibility and space for Josh. (nearly 3 now and very tall for his age). It has an extra 12" front wheel which was perfect for our beach hol in France this year. In fact i think me and my wife both said it's the best child accessory we have ever bought. At first thought it was expensive but not at all now I've had so much use out of it.

The quality its heads and shoulders above the halfords/Adventure ones, it's slick, easy to pull. Comes with everything you need for a buggy & jogger conversion and looks pretty cool too.

It I'd big though. It does fit through doors, but the fold up size will take up the boot.

After about a week of having it we ditched both our buggies in favour of this it's all we use. Absolutely perfect for holidays too!

I've got some pics I can mail you if you want mate. Just email me.

Sorry. Just notice you'd agreed to buy the halfords one. I hope your happy with it, perhaps it was just me being picky when Josh would falls asleep, he look so uncomfortable in it. Keep them awake that's the trick!! 🙂

@topangarider: Lol! That's the joy of kids eh? "But you hated that!", "I like it now", "But but but I just spent two hundred quid buying something else", "I don't like that", "Aaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrgh"

@mrhoops: cheers for the input anyway. The Croozer system does look excellent but it's honestly way more than we need. And way more expensive than I want to pay. 🙂

I'm really just looking for something for the odd tootle up and done the towpaths and country park at our house and maybe a once a year trip to Centre Parcs - so I think that Bellelli will suit us nicely.
