Ok, forgive me if I've missed anything or I'm repeating something that has already been said - there have been quite a few threads on these lights recently.
Anyway, I have used the 900 lumen light on its own until now, which is ok.
Just received the very cheap 1200 lumen light.
Am I right in thinking that the concensus is that the 900 lumen has a good spread but isn't mega bright, whilst the 1200 lumen is powerful but more of a spot? Trying the 1200 on the bars and the 900 on my helmet it didn't seem to be the best use of light/beam, so I swapped the reflectors round.
Just tried it out of the back door and it seems much better. A good spread of light from the 1200 and the 900 seems more powerful and better on the helmet as the spread is narrower. Happy days. 😀
Even the other way round I can't believe how much brighter it all seems with 2 lights!
Daylight hours are available if your scared of the dark 😉
Just got my 1200 today too, will try to get out with it and my 900 P7 this weekend for a direct (on the bars) comparison...
