Everybody must be getting twitchy as this has come up a few times.
Is there a guide anywhere that's better than the bikeradar one to securing a garage.
I'm moving house next year and have the option to replace the up and over door on the garage or just beef it up.
It will back onto a back street directly and as I cycle to work will be used as my main entrance and exit to the house. If I could I'd brick it up and have a proper door put in but that's not an option. I was looking at the side hinged so I could bolt one side shut and just use half the door. Or I was thinking of saving some of the cash, putting in some low level locks on the current door and a few ground anchors on the inside as it's in a "nice area".
So what garage door for everyday access and scrote defence?

I work for a company that manufactures the only police prefered specification garage door in the UK.
Google seceuroglide excel. There are vids online which show the testing procedure where the door is attacked.
