Evening folks, planning on some alpine trips next year. Needs to be flight suitable for a 650b trail bike and potentially use it for a road bike at other points in the year.

Anything known as good value for money?

I find it really hard to look beyond EVOC despite the price.... I borrowed one for BCBR this year and it so much better than my old Planet-X one from 10 years ago. ๐Ÿ˜•

+1 for evoc. Mine have had loads of use and not had a single issue yet, carrying everything from 26" xc bikes to sub 16lb carbon road bikes and wheels, to 650b+ trail bikes to 29ers.

The evoc pro version comes with the fork adaptor for road bikes so might be worth the extra to you.

Evoc, used for more trips than I can remember now and well worth it.

My bike arrives in the same condition in a cheap dhb bag as all my mates with pricey evocs.

I've used the EVOC one to travel from Aus to europe and around europe via planes, trains and cars. Relatively easy to cart around with its wheels, but adds a bit of weight to your luggage. I think the bag weighed 7 or 8 kg from memory.
