just looking for some sub £30 pedals any recomandations??
Shimano 520s are fine - £20 from Merlin I think.

Just recieved mine yesterday (Fathers day gift from my kids 🙂 )
I was a little worried that at that price they wouldnt have the cleats but they came boxed and complete with cleats. Excellent.
Mate has just paid £70 on a set of XT versions. Blooming heck
shimano 520 - never felt the need for anything else
i bought 520s to replace disgustingly light (in my eyes) Xpedos.
a bit heavy, but bullet proof, and now with replaceable cartridge unit bearings (though i dont know if ide bother with the pedals only being 20 quid)
I got some absolutely knackered looking 520's outlasted 2 sets of xpedo and a set of the old 959's (xtr before they did and xtr pedal)
520's..
i'd avoid 520s myself, never seem to last me very long. 540s I get 18 months or so out of and feel a lot lighter....£35 at Merlin I think so north of your budget but worth it i think.
