It may seem harsh, but what to do? Can't really have one rule for one and one rule for all the others.

Just have a quiet word and say don't bother planning an Armstrong type comeback or we'll go public.
ill bet there are other antidepresants on the market.
his case is sad, indeed, but you wouldnt "just not check" what was in it at an oympic gold level, surely?
The "in my herbal antidepressants" excuse seems like sympathy seeking BS to me, backed up by the fact he appears to be a serial drugs cheat..
I think the break will give hime time to take stock and get his life back on track, most of all get his depression under control. undoubtably a talented rider, but how often have we seen talented sportsman in other sports waste their gift through being reckless/stupid of whatever?
At the very least he's an example to up and coming riders of how not to do it?
