[Closed] Recomend me some bar tape

I'm swearing by the Fizik Microtex stuff at the moment. Little bit pricier then some, but you can get it in loads of colours, it looks great, feels fantastic, and seems proper tough. I've only used bright green and red so far but it stays proper clean, no experience of white though which would be the real tester for that.

i use fizik, a bit hard, but the white stuff stays white!

Lizard Skins here. Tough, comfy and grippy.

I'd rather not discuss it on other peoples threads crikey, but if you really want to talk about it here then emailing me then he's refused a refund again, and just recently I was told by someone else he had "fettled" with the brakes and broken them, and won't talk to me about it.

I should swap it for black but it'll contravene the rules re: white saddle.

I'll take a chance on the white fizik stuff, the tape that came on it has started to look grubby already...I've not taken it out the house yet!

I have a bike that somehow had to have white tape, the Fizik stuff makes such a ridiculous choice almost sensible!

Ben using Fizik Microtex tape on my commuter for a couple of years (obvioulsy been changed in that time) and it usually lasts about 3000 miles.

I used to use some lovely italian bar tape with a long name but I can't remember the name of it at all. It was great but not as good as the fizik stuff.

Tried white bar tape once - looked shite after one ride.

I have pink planet x tape on my cx bike, still pink after 2 years and nice and soft! I'm toying with making y own "tape" from the sleeve of a leather jacket for my retroish roadie...

I'll change the saddle in time! 😀
