[Closed] Recieved new middleburn RS7 Uno chain set today with hardcoat chain ring ,???

I noticed on one of the teeth tips on the chain ring that it had slightly been dinked.Probably as it was in a jiffy bagand only sealed in a transparant bag its suffered a nock in transit.All thats happend is the grey coating has come off the very tip of the tooth.does this matter as i would imagine the grey will wear off the tips hard coat or not right?

No it doesn't matter. The hardcoat stuff is more important around the bits between the teeth and on the sides of the teeth but not the tips. You could easily ding the tips with a rock strike or whatever anyway, it doesn't affect the rest of the coating. I use RS7 uno hardcoats on my ss, it's a nice set up and the rings last me years 🙂
