Can you suggest me some good, but good value, AA batteries and charger. My headlamp is chewing through a set of batteries (2xAA) a day in this cold. Works really, really cheap rechargeable batteries don't even last the ride home...

have a look at component shop. Their smart charger and eneloop deal is worth getting.

My local lidl still has some of the smart chargers I think - I have one and its good and chap - takes 6 x AA or AAA or others.

I'll get you one and post it if you want matt.
