In the market for some good quailty screwdrivers for bike related work and genral use anyone got any opinions or reccomendations .
I've got some Facom that seem alright.
Since doing my apprenticeship always bought Stanley, lately bought the Screwfix own brand, theyre well made, very tough handles, can hit them with a hammer, and the pozidrive ends dont round off. Where as the Stanley ones have rounded on the new hard screws in circulation.
Bahco = best.
Park ?
I've had some Teng ones for last 15 odd years. Still as good as new apart from grubby handles.
Do like Facom and Bahco - WERA is another one I've been impressed with.
Beta is another damn good brand.
Got a full Beta socket set with screwdrivers and hex keys in it. Not cheap, but really nice to use and seemingly pretty indestructible.
Teng, Snap On or Stanley
Facom will defo last,good long ones, plenty o'torque, don't seem to wear, gets what you pay for in tools, well quality ones .
Another votr for WERA, not cheap, but the ones I have, have lasted well so far, nice hex wrenches as well.
Snap On are the best ive got. But Facom are great too.
