[Closed] Reba Team Black box remote lock out problem

[#4378029]

I have just done a full service on my Reba Teams, paying particular attention to fluid levels etc, all seals have been replaced however my lock out - doesn't! It did not work before the service but I was hoping the service would help. The pushloc is fully operational and operates as it should, the lock does not work even when I pull the cable, suggesting it is something internal. Any help appreciated.

Cheers Zippy, the return spring seems to be working fine and moving as it should however the fork travel does not lock.

Cable tension maybe, is the gate turned full+?

Is the oil level definatly right?

also if you cycle the fork a few times does the lock work? as the oil can be in the wrong place until cycled.

LoCo, thanks, cable tension is correct as are the fluid levels 123ml and 5ml, ignoring the cable pushloc etc I have moved the top hex to the lock out position it does not lock the fork so my assumption is that the problem is internal. I have cycled the fork a number of times and still no joy.

Hmm, the blanking plate on the bottom of the moco may have rotated slightly, not fully covering the ports on the bottom of the moco, causing the lack of lockout, maybe remove the moco and check this while rotating by hand.

LoCo, checked and all is moving as it should so I think I must have forgotten what the lock out felt like! Many thanks to you and Zippy for your help.
