New to me forks that felt really plush last week ,feel horrid today.
Adjusted the pressure on the trail and even with 40 psi in them getting no sag. Tried a different pump at home and removed top cap , still same result.
What's going on? No tokens inside forks.

Negative air chamber not equalising?

Empty them of air, then slowly add air making sure to cycle the fork through the travel every 10psi. It might get them going again otherwise a service is probably due.

Silly question - locked out?

They are solo air and not locked out. With no air in them they can be pushed all the way down.

This thread might help..or at least point you in the right direction?

Have you measured the travel to make sure its sitting at the right height?

Have you tried a zip tie between the seal to see if there's any trapped air?

I'd strip them down and have a look inside. Makes sure everything is OK and clean.

Did the zip tie and air came out. Forks now sag. I'm assuming a seal needs replacing somewhere.

A friend had this with his Rebas, they need a service and at least 1 seal replacing.

Not necessarily, could just have happened when they were rebuilt. Might be OK now.

My advice is whenever buying 2nd hand forks always take them apart to make sure they are clean and have correct levels of fluid in etc and no scarring on stantions. You can reuse the seals if they are clean but always good practice to replace if you don't know their history.

To be fair when I fitted them they were the plushest forks I'd ever used. So probably leaked while I've been using them.
Looks pretty easy to change o rings.

pressure gauge set to bar not psi?

That would do it.

And put the top cap into a low earth orbit

How you getting on with this? Can't find a rebuild kit for my 2018 Rebas anywhere and they're behaving as yours are.

Have seen that grease can block a port off giving similar behaviour.

Mine are on a bike I want to sell ASAP too!

Near enough!

And put the top cap into a low earth orbit

I'm not sure if it would. Say you can pump up your fork to 120psi fine enough. What's the pressure in there at bottom-out? And how much margin is built in on top? I wonder what they can actually hold before blowing.

@dai1983. Forks seem ok after the zip tie trick, obviously they may go back to bad with a bit more use.
Someone on the intraweb has listed the size of o rings needed. Will find it when I get home if you can't.
