I am thinking of buying a road ebike to ease my 74yr old limbs. Looking at the options they seem to be split between mid- motor Fazua and rear wheel Mahle in the cheaper end. If it was an emtb I wouldn't consider a rear wheel motor but what about road bikes?
Any experience of both?
I know there will be opinions, it is STW.

BB motors torque sensing works better, better on hills.
Rear wheel motors are cheaper and gives more flexibility in mounting. I would always go BB mount if I could even for road
