Hi guys I want to buy some CB wheels but the rear only come in 142mm spacing and I need 135. Has anyone got or seen these adaptors and is it possible to machine the 3odd mm off both of them so I can use them? Thanks

Is it a 142 x 12 axle? If yes then the axle may be too big for your frame too.

Have you called to see if they do a different axle kit?

It is a 12mm axel but my frame has that already. They don't make the right size caps for me I have enquired. Surely I can just file off the extra I need from the adaptors?

As long as the axle won't protrude past the end caps, ie longer than 135mm, I can't see it being a problem, I would't file them though, as they should be dead square to fit properly. What you need is a helpful man with a lathe ๐Ÿ˜‰

Yes I guess filing isn't the way really but I love the CB wheels as I've had quite a few pairs and they've been really good. ๐Ÿ™‚
