[#6538454]

I have just built up a second hand frame, giant anthem 29er,.
The donor bike was a Fuji Outland 2011, this was also built up from a second hand frame.
The 2011 Fuji has a RockShox Monarch 3.3 shock. The 2013 anthem came with a RockShox Monarch R.
Both are the same size and travel.
Do I stick with the "R" or go with the older "3.3"?
My riding is cross country plenty of climbing and descending but nothing that would kill me if I fell off.
I'm selling the Fuji so need some help making up my mind before it goes.

The tune will be different on the 3.3 so will need to be re-tuned for the maestro on your anthem.

If you don't mind swapping shocks while out riding it might be worth going for a shock testing ride so you can try them back to back before making a decision.
