[Closed] Rear maxle coming loose!

I have done a search on this, but there doesn't seem to be a conclusive fix for this, does anybody know the cure? My bearings are now worn, so the extra play can't help, but it still should come loose.

I've noticed this also. If you do it up correctly, the slightest knock will turn the QR lever when its in the closed position and start undoing it.

I replaced mine with regular QR.

For some reason the front one doesn't do this.

Would be keen to hear of any fixes also.

Front one has a 2.5mm hex head bolt in the middle of the lever.
Tighten this up until the QR is stiff to activate.
Much less likely to undo.

Same at the rear, tighten up so the lever is stiff to close - works on mine anyway, just replaced my DT Swiss axle with a maxle as it's more secure.

just don't overtighten it because it will snap, SRAM advise you "just nip it up".

They also say 'should leave a clear impression in your palm'

So tight, but not too tight. Nice and clear ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜•

Ok I will give that a go, is it worth using threadlock or similar?
