looking for some really wide dropped bars for my tourer.
48cm across the tops if possible.
crust bikes in the US do some, but cant source any over here.
nitto noodles are the nearest.
anything else anyone?
Alpkit spitfires are available in 46cm, not sure if that's the tops or the drops though...

46 is easy to find,48 not so. I have 46 on two bikes, both Ritchey. One on fixed, the other cross, mainly for honking and control.
Despite being quite small, I have broad shoulders. Don’t really notice much difference to 44s if I’m honest.
Ribble have a good selection of 46cm
Funn G-wide, I was going to stick a pair of the 50cm on my cx bike but then I sold it. Available in 48cm and 50cm

52-58cm wide at the drops, but 27.5cm wide on the tops.

yes mate. packed mtbing in. too much pain when riding anything rough.
Someone mentioned the Love Mud Spitfire above so I measured mine. 44cm are 46cm edge to edge on the tops (which are double wrapped), 51cm at end of the slightly flared drops
So I'd guess the 46 would be 48 and 53cm? Anyway, they are great bars, wee bit of back sweep and flare, very comfortable.
Genetic Digest bars on SJS are available as 48cm.
Lot of flared bars like the Nittos and Digests are wide at the drops but quite narrow where the hoods are. Whyte shipped one of their bikes with genuine 50cm wide at the hoods bars, but not seen any for sale separately.
Really like my 46cm Cowchippers as they are 46cm at hoods and wider on the drops with the 24 degree flare.
These look good, but are expensive and Id want to check are actually 50cm at the hoods and not just at the drops

I think they ship the Gisburn, Glencoe and the Friston with the 500mm bars, just picked up a cheap Gisburn and really like the wider bars on it. May be worth giving them a call to see if they'd sell a set.

Funn G-Wide is currently the widest one available on the market, apart of custom Black Sheet Ti.

It is 520 on the hoods and 625 on the drops, however Genetic Digest is 480 on the hoods and 620 on the drops.
I would consider these 2...
