I've got a pair of them on an old GT timberline I bought for £50, I'm quids in!!

I always thought those and the LX versions looked really cheap.

Horses for courses I guess. I've always thought they were some of the nicest (cable) brake levers I've ever used - feel proper solid.

Still wouldn't pay that much for them though (was watching this auction and was interested around lunchtime when they were still 20 quid or so).
