Very old one possibly mix and match swing arm but not really worth anything
The hitman was a dirt jump hardtail
That's what I thought jam bo
Why did Calibre Bossnut spring to mind when i saw the swing arm??
Naw, that downtube's been hydroformed. Not an orange.
It's a mix and match of halfrauds crap with orange stickers and a (far too short) shock from a different bike
The downtube certainly looks like an Orange from around the turn of the century. They even made their hardtails with that downtube, after obviously spending loads on some metalworking machinery and being a bit over excited about using it. Can't comment beyond that.
Just for a second I thought they were ltd edition pink hope brakes.
That is gashting, I would stay away.

This.
OP's is in no way an Orange. God knows what it is...
The white one above looks legit to me - very early Patriot. Definitely.
Both look legit to me.
First looks like an early early patriot (old old old style non reinforced shock mount and swing arm) 99ish. With a comically short shit shock stuck on
The first one is not and never has been an Orange. Not even a really early one, not even a prototype. Anyone who says it is or might be is wrong.
It's a Silverfox Oasis. Basically a rip off of the Orange Patriot from the early 2000's, and the reason why for a time Orange wouldn't sell frame decals without a frame number.
Nice input folks. It's always good to learn.
Jebus T***y Christ.
Seat angle slacker than head tube? Check
Seller has no clue? Check
Pivot placement somewhere further north than Svalbard? Check
Look at the shock travel available and compare that to the clearance between the tyre and the seat tube...
Plus, I know Colchester.
Is that a John Player Special livery?
