Nope, not picking a side cos all Geometrons are awesome. The two bikes show the versatility of them though - can have very different builds on the same frame.

First ride of the year for me on my G1 last night. Planning to use it a lot this summer though.

Got out on mine last night for what I hope is the first of lots of dry and dusty loops in the coming months.   Love it and this article reminds me I don't need a new bike just some DH forks and a 27.5" rear so I have multiple bikes in one.

I've got some lighter wheels & tyres (from my new hardtail) for the 1st time this year so looking forward to seeing how it rides with a bit less heft!

Given I've had a G1 with Boxxers and also with a Manitou Mezzer Pro, I can say with certainty that both of these set-ups will work really well, it's simply what you choose to prioritise in terms of what you rid and how you want to attack it.
