Hey all, I have ridden my current hardtail for a while now and i am happy with the feel of the rig at the moment; with the new bars, stem, fork, double with bash and chainguide. However i feel the current look of the frame is a bit blasé at present, just red with a few logos. So, i was wondering if any experienced botcher could talk me through the full process of re-spraying a hardtail frame? Any advice is much appreciated.

Send it to a pro. I tried to do mine, but it looks like it was done by a three year old, who did it with a muddy stick, and oily fingers....

Key is to prepare your frame properly. Make sure its clean and smooth.
A paint brush is a no - no ... the brush strokes will be seen.

Aerosol spray - for primer/colour and laquer.
Do not try to put too much on at once. Light even coverage for layer upon layer. The paint appreciates a warm environment too.

Pretty easy if you take your time.
