anyone got one? any good pics? i saw a raw five this weekend, think it was polished and lacquered and it simply looked 'right' just like a grey filing cabinet should do ๐
anyways pics would be appreciated if they exist anywhere
haha, bawls, really its a paint job? ๐ณ only saw it as i came to a slow in a shop window but just assumed it was raw!
it looks lush that!!!!!!
i think im now in love ๐
Chrome or Ghost grey innit? Did you see one at Dalby with nasty NEON GREEN wheels?
"Colourway"
*shakes head*
There is one in Sterling Silver in the window of Congleton Cycle Centre, was it that one? Its a lot brighter than the older chrome grey and does look polished in the right light!

indeed it was! its my lbs and a cracking one at that so ill go and have a closer look have a chat about having mine sprayed!
it really really really looked like it was raw polished to me, but obviously your a man in the know of this new colour job!
i went past the (not so secret) orange factory last week and saw loads of orange five swingarms on the floor in the doorway in the raw....(drools)
nice munro - so is that raw polished then lacquered? or just raw lacquered?
i must say ive googled the new sterling silver , and in real life photos it looks pretty much raw in most of the pics, impressed!
bawls, problem is sending into orange to have it done and having absolutly no bike for 2-3 weeks whilst its been done ๐
Plain raw lacquered, it looks a lot better in the flesh as all the important imperfections come out. The guy who won the No Fuss King of the Mountains has a raw polished one with custom swingarm decals and it's the best looking Five on the planet.
Just take the frame to your local metal polishers then buy new stickers
how much do you think it would cost to get the five 'rawed' and polished from somewhere? brian rourkes cycles do resprays so may try them as have a mate who has used them before
Orange will do a "Raw" frame or "Raw Laquered" if requested, they just prefer not to as they recommend that a spray of paint will be more beneficial to preserve longevity.
Bikeactive have sold loads of Raw 5's over the last year. Just have a look on their FB page. If the customer wants, the customer gets.....
