Just saw some Pace RC31s in the classifieds. They seem to go for pretty good money still (I have some C-types in the garage). Is this a "retro" thing or were they really so far ahead of their time?

Any other similar components: still sought after and haven't really depreciated?

Yep, same - even though the original red was now a little pinkish.

Various XTR chainsets too - mainly because they are great and still the same 104BCD as current.
