what does the collective think of this bike?

Seems a bargain for full Ultegra spec. I appreciate Raleigh make budget bikes these days but this sounds like it was developed/made by a separate arm of the company (I think based on one of the Raleigh USA frames who seem to make pretty decent bikes?) Sounds good from the blurb I've read http://road.cc/content/news/44316-raleigh-2012-launch-carbon-alloy-and-steel-back-too

Is it just cheap because it's an unfashionable brand? It's the same frame as the Raleigh GAC team have been riding this year apparently. In fact Wiggle have a Dura-Ace (not wheels) spec one for just over £2100 - seems silly cheap. Anyone seen/ridden one? Have googled it, there's not much out there but have found only good reports/happy customers, nothing negative!

Unpopoular name = cheap prices 🙂

Only thing I'd change on this would be the Stylo cranks - otherwise an XT equipped bike for £700

Yeah nice spot. Some hefty discounts to be had. I am seriously tempted by the road bike!
