Ok so ive been getting the chain trapped between the granny ring and the middle ring a lot lateley and decided to replace the granny ring on my raceface evolve crankset.
so i took of this

and have put on this

now all the other chainrings have turbine on them apart from this original granny ring. Its also a lot thinner but the chain ring bolts are recessed in the new one.
Any idea why they would be different? any known issues before i die in a fiery fireball of doom?
Oh, i forgot. If im replacing the BB (a raceface xc type thing) with another manufacturer is it a straight swap or are we into spacing everything about to get the right chainline?
