Looking to get between the tape a bit more in 2020 can anyone recommend any decent Enduro races (not too serious) in the Northern half of the UK? Already got an entry into Ard Rock as 2019 was a disaster ๐Ÿ™ Ta.

How good on a bike do you need to be to ride these enduro events? I don't mean to be competitive, but good enough not to be getting off and walking lots of sections??

I'm quite happy on BPW Reds, is that the sort of level or are the runs a lot more technical / scary?

The races I've done at that 'ride it all but not at the pointy end in any way' level ('Ard Rock, Boltby, FoD mini-enduros) have all been similar to or a touch above BPW red but nowhere near a BPW black IMO. For me, 'Ard Rock stages on the whole (apart form the flat out grassy ones) are pretty similar to long versions of Rim Dinger with a few steeper chutes and sharp turns thrown in.

Boltby does look pretty good, may have to give that a go in 2021 as sold out this year :/
