After my posting yesterday about shoddy goods received a response from Race Face .They are going to offer me a 2010 Team B/B at a reduced rate and i quote :We have totally redesigned that BB with new seals and all new bearings. I know you will have a better experience with this product.
Nice to know companies do listen sometimes .
So, moaning on STW does work then, OF? 😉

Actually TBH they replied to an e mail i sent after i got nowhere with Silverfish .Same outcome though .Can't think they would be interested in a UK bike forum ?

RF definitely don't read this forum! They offered me a replacement puller cap after mine shredded - unfortunately, their email arrived about 2 weeks after I'd got the hacksaw out.
Makes you wonder if they've actually got it right for 2010, seeing as they have had to change it every year since they brought out the X-Type.
I reckon another design will be on the cards for 2011, when it's discovered the latest one only lasts a year max, too.
