Can't believe how biased the judges are in favour of US and Canadian riders. If Kyle Strait had pulled the first double back flip in Rampage history he'd have got a 95! Pffft. Devalues the whole thing

Agree about the scores. Tricks above terrain too, but I just ignore that part and enjoy the riding.

The Bizet score was absurd. It looked like a flawless run to me. Enjoyed Tom Van Sternberg, Kurt Sorge the most out of the rest.

Is Brendan Fairclough not riding?

Fair clough is injured. Always too much weight on tricks lower down the course. Still wicked to watch

The right man is in the lead but I agree Bizet got a rough deal.

Amazing how few crashes so far.

If Kyle Strait had pulled the first double back flip in Rampage history

Luckily Bizet did 2 last year at Rampage (and a few in practice).
It was always going to be Crankpage

I think TVS deserved a better score for that.

Judges obviously weren't that impressed with the caveman from TVS.

Love Kyle Strait's dad and his sign.

🙂

Yup. He could have just popped over that last one and still gone into first I reckon.

I think his first deserved 1st tbh. That chute + the massive flipped drop

That was better from zink, but i still prefer sorge's style. Seems like a nice guy too.

Good to see the respect between riders.

That chute was ridiculous. So much of it was. Great to get a full contest, all getting 2 runs. Amazing stuff.

Bizet was robbed, didn't see all the others tbf but his score was way lower than should've been!

Definitely the best organised rampage event from the viewers perspective. Scoring is obviously subjective but a great event to witness

Helped by the lack of wind.

Camaraderie seemed superb this year.

I was a bit choked during the McGazza segment!

Bizet was robbed,

And he got 44% of the vote in the people’s choice

Finally got my Redbull TV slowdown moment, stuttered it's way through run 2...
Yep Bizet deserved a lot more for that, only thought I have is it wasn't a hard enough line to get the points up to start with but that's the subjective nature.
Great work for the local lad though, got to feel good.

On the rest of it the Drone footage was good once they got the hang of it, some of the angles were not that good considering they know what the lines are at the start.

Don't know how I missed it but I never realised Sorge was representing the 26" master race

And Bizet should have got an extra prize for riding Rampage with his backpack on.

What a dude.

The chute is utter bonkers....

Tom vanS deserved more for his starting 'caveman' move. 😯

I don't think Bizet was robbed: For once the judging didn't seem to be all about one trick, and they rewarded insane lines as much as the tricks. I do think he deserved a bigger score, but he didn't do enough to win IMO.

Tom van Steenbergen deserves the best trick award for his caveman drop-in: One of the most insane things I've seen on a mtb. I certainly think he deserved a bigger score.

I think it was one of the best Rampages ever: It was certainly helped with the weather, but it usually fizzles out in the second run and this ha interest right up until the end.

Also representing 26" was Tyler McCaul.

I was puzzled by Bizet's score at first but it seems the judges were scoring the more natural technical section more highly than the more bike park lower section and Bizet had to opt out of his main line at the top because it collapsed (?).

So it made sense ultimately - would Zink have won if he'd completed that second run? I felt his line was the most technically challenging and that seems to be where Rampaaaaage is going

He shouldn't have won, but should have scored a bit higher IMO.

would Zink have won if he'd completed that second run?

Probably, as he did throw in a bit of steeze and a few more tricks - and I get the impression he;s the golden haired child when it comes to rampage.

Yeah, I think Zink would have gone ahead of Sorge, if he'd cleaned his second run.

a bit of steeze

That huge gap into manual has become my new definition of steeze 🙂

Zink for me mainly for the start chute which was insane . Saying that , that caveman might be the coolest thing in mtb history

sorge's run was solid but not 1st place imo. i'd have to give it to zinc , even though i'm tired of the ' im the only person in the world with a family ' persona. 3rd place was correct and possibly bizet in 4th.

1st zinc 2nd sorge 3rd neal 4th bizet. imo
