[#3622205]

I currently have 24/32 on the front, my mate has a 36t bash guard, can I fit this (ok it will be larger than the 32t sprocket) without issues untill I upgrade to a 36t middle ring?

Cheers

Stu

Yes, the bash might catch on the chain a bit when it's in the smaller sprockets at the back, slightly annoying but nothing to worry about.

One thing to watch out for though when you buy the 36T ring: if it's not a double specific one and the gap between the big and small rings is large (22-36 in my case) you might end up getting horrible chainsuck and make a right mess of your nice shiny new frame. ๐Ÿ™ Which reminds me, I need to buy a new chainring...

No, your crank is 64/104 - the granny ring is 64mm, the middle/outer are 104.

yer i just found out the info I need, my eyes must have been playing up, Centre to Centre is about 74mm x 1.414 = 104.636 so it will be fine after all.

Cheers for all your help.
